TOP Information Fairs at the Downing Student Union are a great way to introduce incoming Freshman to WKU On Demand courses and to Distance Learning, and we love getting the opportunity to meet new students, and connecting with their parents, many of whom are WKU Alumni.
We also held our very popular baseball-themed Summer Registration Kick-off event on April 27th & 28th here on the Bowling Green campus at the Hardin Planetarium and the Centennial Mall. Students got great information about On Demand classes while enjoying some peanuts and Cracker Jack!
We made it a point to visit our Regional campuses as part of our Summer registration kick-off. Many of our On Demand students take classes at the Elizabethtown, Fort Knox, Owensboro, and Glasgow campuses, and we set up tables at these campuses a few times during the Fall and Spring semesters to bring information directly to regional campus students.
Bowling Green Veterans learned about what WKU On Demand and Distance Learning can do for them at the Bowling Green Veteran’s Job Fair at the National Guard Armory on May 19th.
We’re so glad we’ve been able to connect with so many existing and potential students and we look forward to helping them with their On Demand classes this summer.
