I recently attended the Kentucky EMS Conference and Expo, which has been the largest continuous EMS conference in the state since 1990. Presented by the Kentucky Ambulance Providers Association and the Kentucky Board of Emergency Medical Services, the conference brings all EMS groups together with the common goal of presenting EMS providers with the best education and resources available.
As part of the Expo, the WKU DELO booth provided information to participants about our associate’s degree in paramedicine, which will be offered beginning Spring 2012.
Offered through the Kentucky Emergency Medical Services Academy (KEMSA), the program allows individuals to earn an associate’s degree while obtaining EMT Paramedic certification. Several conference attendees visited our booth, took information, asked questions, and registered to win the giveaway.
