ADEIL 2013: Committed to the Race

Distance Learning is thrilled to be the 2013 host of the annual Association for Distance Education and and Independent Learning (ADEIL) conference.  ADEIL 2013 is October 10-12 and will be held at the Knicely Conference Center.  This is a time for leaders in distance education and independent learning to share insights and experiences with their peers.

The keynote speaker, Dr. James Selbe, will take attendees on the journey the Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) has undergone to actuate their Direct2Degree online degree program and their use of competency-based instruction to accommodate the changing needs of students.

The conference program also includes a special state authorization track and we are excited that representatives from the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education will be presenting.  Other topics of interest include instructional design, student services, teaching, and testing.

Registration ends September 23, 2013.  Don’t miss out on the opportunity to learn what other institutions are doing and reveal your own commitment to the race!
