Samantha Hartman joins the NSE team in the fall of 2013.  She will focus on reaching out to qualified students and guiding them through their NSE application.

Samantha is originally from the St. Louis area and graduated from McKendree University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She is a WKU Graduate student working toward her Master of Arts in Education with an emphasis in Student Affairs. Samantha is also working as a Hall Director for Housing and Residence Life at WKU.

Samantha stated, “My hopes for NSE opportunities is that students can gain an outside perspective of what they want to do or be in life. The experiential learning they gain from participating in NSE is invaluable. Each student that engages in an NSE trip will emerge with new skills and experiences that will help them throughout the course of their life. I am excited to be able to help these students find a way to grow not just outside of the classroom but outside of their normal daily lives as well.”
