Today, about 69 folks had a real scare at the Looking for Trouble: Identifying Potential for Threat in College Students workshop offered by WKU’s Counseling and Testing Center. The sessions were designed to help education professionals provide the safest environment for our students and colleagues.
It was led by Richard James from the University of Memphis, where among other things he trains police officers for crisis intervention with the mentally ill and consults on crisis intervention planning and techniques with schools, agencies, and businesses.
Also guiding the discussion was Brian Van Brunt, Director of WKU’s Counseling and Testing Center.
Thanks for the CTC for offering this insightful workshop.
